The second annual Middle East Sulphur Conference was organized from 18th to 20th March 2018 in Abu Dhabi by the CRU group. Swiss Singapore Overseas Enterprises (SSOE) were the proud sponsors of the event which was devoted to exploring the entire Sulphur value chain and the growing role of the Middle East as the world’s largest producer of Sulphur. SSOE is one of the world’s leading players of the Sulphur trading industry and provides customized solutions to counter-parties.
The event provided a unique platform for showcasing the importance of this vital commodity and will provide a thorough exploration of the entire sulphur value chain – from the operational aspects of the safe, efficient and environmentally responsible production of sulphur through to the marketing and distribution of sulphur to key consumers.
The conference mainly focused on global sulphur outlook till 2022, demand trends with regional focus on India & China and R&D activity of sulphur applications. It also catered to certain technical and operational developments including options for acid gas enrichment, effective emission management and best practice amine management.
The MD & CEO of SSOE, Mr. Rajesh Somani, along with the entire Sulphur team and other vertical heads attended the event from SSOE.
